Stephen J. Fraher is an independent attorney at Lawler, Mahon & Rooney. He focuses on civil litigation, labor and employment law, and federal regulatory matters. After receiving his B.A. in English from Suffolk University in 1973, Fraher attended Brooklyn Law School. He obtained his J.D. in 1989. In the 1990s, he worked for the law firm of Richardson, Mahon & Casey, P.C. He then was employed by GE in Stamford, Connecticut, where he served for three years as a Contract Analyst for GE Capital Information Technology Services and three years as a Compliance Analyst for GE Card Services.

Fraher is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
